Retrieval Training | Cavity For Scent Work | Bird Dog Tool

Prepare your gundog, working K9 or sport dog for scent-related work, with the GUNNER® Bumper! The proprietary design boasts a removable cap with an interior cavity to help develop your dog's natural tracking instincts. Introduce bird wings, feathers, or other scented items by utilizing the hollow body component. Enhance your dog's scent detecting abilities and prep them for real-world applications, and remove frustration for you (no more taping or wrapping feathers before every session).

The GUNNER® Bumper is made of DuraTrieve™ – a proprietary rubber compound developed by GUNNER®, as a compound built for durability and reliability. In addition to longevity, the performance material was constructed for ideal weight and floatation in water.

Man's Best Bumper™ features a tapered body design that trains dogs to grasp in the middle of the target, promoting a proper hold during bird and hunt dog training. The vented design with strategically placed channels ensures maximum airflow, keeping your dog more comfortable during intense training sessions.

The Bumper's composition makes cleaning a breeze as it resists dirt and dries quickly, preventing any potentional mildew accumulation often found on other similar tools.

Two Colors for Visibility

Choose from two distinct colors in Man’s Best Bumper™ to suit your preferences and training requirements:

For enhanced visibility in all backgrounds, opt for the Flasher. The black and white combination is good to have on hand when training in different environments, as it gives a mark for all scenarios.

• Gives visibility against both light and dark backgrounds
• Great for marks in all scenarios
• Good color to have when training in various environments

The Orange option mimics blind retrieves due to its low visibility for the dog and high visibility for the trainer. Also works well for scent work, as it helps dogs learn to trust the scent rather than looking for color.

• Low visibility for dog, high visibility for trainer
• Orange blends with grass, trees, brush, and other environments
• Best for "blind" retrieves
• Helps dog learn to trust the scent, rather than looking for color
