Harness or Vest Mount | Distraction | Law Enforcement

The Dark Systems Remote Control Strobe Light Distraction Device is a high-intensity tactical lighting module designed to provide K9 teams with an additional operational capability during complex tactical deployments. Featuring a powerful forward-facing 2,600-lumen white strobe LED, the system creates a sudden visual distraction that can help provide K9 teams with a critical tactical advantage during operations.

Originally designed as a dedicated module for the DarkFighter K9 Helmet, the strobe light can now also be mounted directly to a compatible K9 vest or harness using the new mounting interface. The interface installs in seconds, allowing teams to deploy the system without requiring the K9 to wear a helmet and providing greater flexibility across different operational scenarios.

The remotely controlled system can be activated from up to 328 feet (100 meters) away, allowing the handler to deploy the strobe while maintaining distance from the K9 and the operational area. A single press activates the strobe, while a second press deactivates it, providing simple, intuitive operation when timing is critical.

When activated, the high-intensity rapid flashes can temporarily disrupt normal visual focus and draw attention away from the K9, creating a momentary distraction that can support tactical entry and engagement scenarios. The remote activation capability allows handlers to deploy the distraction at the appropriate moment without physically interacting with the K9 or approaching the module.
